Terms of Sale & Website Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-09-08
These terms govern the use of the KADOSH³ website and the commissioning of handwritten Torah scrolls, Torah and Haftarah cases, arks and Judaica. Using the site or submitting a quote request constitutes acceptance of these terms.
1. Nature of the service
KADOSH³ commissions, supervises and delivers Torah scrolls written by hand by certified sofrei STaM, cases for Torah scrolls and Haftarah scrolls, arks and Judaica.
A Torah scroll is never sold as an off-the-shelf product. It is commissioned exclusively through an individual written quote covering the writing tradition, parchment type, the identity of the sofer, the schedule and payment terms.
Catalog items that display a price and stock — certain cases and Judaica items — may be ordered directly, subject to availability confirmation.
2. Prices and price floors
Case pricing is subject to fixed floors: a solid-wood Torah case is never below ILS 19,000; a carbon-fibre case has a base price of ILS 40,000.
A discount on a carbon case is granted only to a client who also commissions the Torah scroll itself from KADOSH³, and in no case may the price fall below ILS 29,000.
Prices shown are in Israeli shekels and include tax as applicable at the time of order unless the quote states otherwise. Where the site and a signed quote differ, the signed quote prevails.
"Price on request" is not a commitment; the price is set in an individual quote according to materials, dimensions and ornamentation.
3. Images, dimensions and site content
Images labelled "placeholder image" are not photographs of the delivered item. They illustrate style only and are not a binding specification.
Dimensions, weights and lead times are estimates until confirmed in a quote or signed specification. Handmade work may vary slightly between items.
Torah and halachic content on this site is drawn only from marked, verified sources. The site issues no halachic rulings; for any halachic question consult your rabbi or a qualified authority.
4. Orders, payment and cancellation
An order takes effect upon written confirmation by KADOSH³ and payment of the deposit stated in the quote.
Bespoke work — above all the writing of a Torah scroll and a made-to-measure case — is commissioned work. Company policy is no returns and no exchanges once production or writing has begun.
Cancellation before production begins is reviewed individually and does not entitle a refund of costs already incurred (materials, reserving a sofer's schedule, design and freight).
Nothing here derogates from consumer rights granted by applicable law that cannot be contracted out.
5. Intellectual property
The name KADOSH³ | קָדוֹשׁ³, the slogan "KADOSH³ — The Torah. Its case. Its ark.", the designs, photography and texts on this site belong to the company or to its licensors.
Site content, including case designs, may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without prior written permission.
6. Warranty and governing law
Product warranty is detailed on the Shipping & Warranty page and in the warranty documents supplied with each item.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, with exclusive jurisdiction in the competent courts of Israel.
