Shipping & Warranty Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-08

This page explains how KADOSH³ items are produced, shipped and delivered, and what the warranty covers. The binding details for a specific order appear in its quote and shipping documents.

Production times

Writing a Torah scroll is prolonged handwork; the writing time is agreed individually with the sofer and stated in the quote.

Cases and Judaica are made to measure and to design; an item's estimated lead time is shown on its page when known.

An order dedicated to the memory of a fallen IDF soldier receives priority in the writing queue under the KADOSH³ memorial program.

Freight, insurance and delivery

We ship to Israel, the United States, the United Kingdom and additional destinations worldwide. Freight method, cost and insurance are set in the quote according to destination, weight and dimensions.

Sacred items ship in hardened packaging with cargo insurance. Some routes require personal handover or supervised freight.

Import taxes, duties and fees at the destination are the client's responsibility unless the order document states otherwise.

Inspection on receipt and transit damage

Inspect the packaging and the item immediately on receipt. Transit damage or a defect must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs of both packaging and item.

Late reporting may void the carrier's insurance cover.

Warranty scope

The manufacturer's warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, per the warranty document supplied with the item and for the period stated in it.

It excludes normal wear, damage from impact, moisture, extreme heat or prolonged sun exposure, handling or repair by anyone not authorised by us, and natural changes of tone and patina in wood, leather and metal.

Inspection, repair and script maintenance of a Torah scroll are performed by a qualified sofer or magiha; such work is documented and is not a warranty repair unless it stems from a writing defect for which we are responsible.

The full warranty terms for carbon cases and wood cases, including the mandatory storage conditions, are set out on the Product warranty page.

No returns

Company policy is no returns and no exchanges on bespoke items once production or writing has begun. A manufacturing defect is handled by repair or replacement under the warranty document.

This does not derogate from rights that cannot be contracted out under applicable law.
