How to choose a Torah case

Wood or carbon

Solid wood cases start at ₪19,000 with a one-year warranty. Structural carbon cases start at ₪59,000, built in a 3K/12K/3K structure at 45–60 cm and 5–6.5 kg, with a 30-year warranty on the case body and structure. Combined with a Torah scroll order from us, a carbon case is significantly discounted.

Fit to the scroll

A case is chosen by the scroll's actual height and diameter, never by estimate. Every case page lists internal and external dimensions to check fit with the scroll and the ark.

Matching Haftarah case

Each Torah case can be paired with a Haftarah case in the same design, about 45%–50% of the Torah case height, for Yemenite, Sephardi, Ashkenazi or Chabad custom.

What is a Torah case?

A Torah case (תיק לספר תורה) is the rigid structure the scroll stands, rests and is carried in. KADOSH³ uses the term Torah case for wooden cases, carbon cases and Haftarah cases alike, and every case in the catalogue is listed with full internal and external dimensions so fit can be checked against the measured scroll.
